The urge to constantly excel and innovate has been the driving force for the company’s success and has seen the company diversify across different verticals from Industrial bearings into Automotive Bearings. • 1978 : RMP Bearings started production of Thrust Bearings.
• 1983 : RMP Bearings started production of Textile Bearings and became approved Vendor of M/s Laxmi Machine Works (LMW)
• 1986 : RMP started manufacturing bearings for AutomobileSector.
• 1988 : RMP Bearings became approved Vendor of Various OEM’s.
• 1990 : RMP started exporting Thrust Bearings
• 1994 : RMP developed Steering Column Bearings for M/s. Sona Koyo Steering (for Maruti).
• 1995 : RMP became Private Limited Company having Corporate office at Ahmedabad.
• 1997 : RMP developed Spindle Bearings.
• 2000 : RMP started making Nylon Cage. RMP starts new Ball guide and channel.
• 2001 : RMP starts New Project of Developing “Pinch Bolt Yoke and Nadellok Yoke”
• 2005 : RMP starts supply of Yokes Rane Nsk with Machining.
• 2006 : RMP starts supply of Yoke to Delphi India.
• 2007 : RMP starts supply of Tensioner Jockey Pulley to Marzoli SPA (Camozzi Group) – Italy
• 2008 : RMP starts supply of Yoke to Fuji Autotech – Brazil Via Sona.
• 2009 : RMP starts supply of Ball Bearing to TVS CJ Components Ltd. U.K.
• 2010 : RMP starts supply of Yoke to Nexteer Automotive Corporation. U.S.A.
• 2011 : RMP starts supply of Tensioner Jockey Pulley to LMW – China
• 2012 : RMP starts VSME Programme through Sona Koyo Strg. Sys. Ltd. And successfully implemented.
• 2013: Developed clutch bearing for Volvo, Mercedes, Scania, DAF for After Market
• 2014: Developed Double Row Tapper Roller Bearing for export customers
• 2015: Developed 8mm and 9mm Sheet Metal Yokes for Heavy Commercial Vehicles Developed End Cover and Ring Deflector for OEMs
• 2016: Manufactured precision clutch beating for Tractor of Export Market Developed Bushes and Needle Roller Bearings for ZFs
• 2017: Installed a $2 Million state of the art manufacturing line for Sheet Metal [35 pieces/minute and 1.8 Million pieces per annum]
• 2018: Developed Clamp shafts and Rocker Valves for 2 Wheeler Segments Started manufacture of Steering half shafts for Passenger Vehicles
• 2019: Supply of Grease and UJ Cross (Connecting Rod) for HCV and LMV
• 2020: Developed wheel hub unit for HCV / LCV Segment forExport Customers. And number of parts launched for 2W Segments.
• 2021: Developed wheel bearings for passenger car segment for export.
